Gold Rush Alaska Synopsis

Gold Rush Alaska is a documentary television series produced by Discovery Channel that premiered in December of 2010.

Gold Rush Alaska follows the story of six men living in Sandy, Oregon. Due to recession they have all lost their jobs and in a last ditch attempt to turn their fortunes around they become greenhorn old miners and travel to Porcupine Creek in Alaska to mine for gold and prevent their financial ruin.

Gold Rush Alaska aired one season and has been commissioned for second season.
