Wentworth Synopsis

Wentworth is a drama television series produced by the Australian SoHO Channel that premiered in May of 2013.

Wentworth is loosely based on the 1979 original Australian series Prisoner. It follows the story of Bea Smith (played by Danielle Cormack) who gets sent to Wentworth prison on remand. Until she is sentenced, Bea is forced to learn how the prison system works in order to survive.

Wentworth is currently in its first season.
