Chewin’ The Fat Synopsis

Chewin’ The Fat is a comedy sketch television series produced by BBC One that premiered in January of 1999.

Chewin’ The Fat was based on the BBC Scotland radio comedy series of the same name. The series stared Karen Dunbar, Greg Hemphill and Ford Kiernan. Each episode featured a number of recurring characters such as Bish and Bosh, the Lighthouse Keepers and the Depressed Taxi Caller among other. The series results in two spin off series – Still Game and the Karen Dunbar Show.

Chewin’ The Fat aired four seasons and two specials.
