The River Synopsis

The River is paranormal adventure television series produced by ABC that premiered in February of 2012.

Created by Oren Peli and Michael R. Perry The River follows the story of Dr. Emmet Cole (played by Bruce Greenwood), a host of a famed nature show and the aftermath of his disappearance. Dr. Cole went missing in the Amazon and six months later just as his son Lincoln (played by Joe Anderson) is ready to let get go, Dr. Cole’s emergency beacon goes off. His mother Tess (played by Leslie Hope) urges Lincoln to join her and a television crew and help with the rescue effort.

The River is currently in its first season.
