The Lock Up Synopsis

The Lock Up is a documentary television series produced by BBC Three that premiered in February of 2011.

The Lock Up follows the employees who work at the custody suite at the police station in Hull, United Kingdom. Their main duty is to take care of suspects in between their arrest and their possible court appearance. Since the series was filmed over the course of one year it shows how the staff dealt with violent offenders, a number of underage suspects and a number of attempted suicides.

The Lock Up is currently in its first season.
