The Governor’s Wife Synopsis

The Governor’s Wife is a reality television series produced by A&E Network that premiered in October of 2013.

The Governor’s Wife follows the story of Edwin Edwards, the former Louisiana governor who recently got out of jail after serving a 8 year sentence for bribery and extortion. Edwards and his third wife Trina are newly married and they met while he was in jail. Trina is determined to cement her place at the social scene and have a baby with Edwin.

The Governor’s Wife is currently in its first season.
