The Cup Synopsis

The Cup is a mockumentary television series produced by BBC Two that premiered in August of 2008.

Created by Moray Hunter and Jack Docherty The Cup follows the trials and tribulations of an Under-11 football team. The children view it as some healthy competition but their parents have other ideas. Terry McConnell (played by Steve Edge), is a dad of Malky,  and he is desperate to do anything (including sabotage) in order for his son to get a trial with the Bolton Wanderers.

The Cup aired one season.
