The Alternative Comedy Experience is a stand up comedy television series produced by Comedy Central UK that premiered in February of 2013.

The Alternative Comedy Experience is hosted by Stewart Lee who handpicks a number of stand up comedians to perform before a live audience. Some of the comedians that have performed a set include Josie Long, Phil Nichol, Tony Law, Simon Munnery and Isy Suttie.
