Takin’ Over the Asylum Synopsis

Takin’ Over the Asylum is a drama television series produced by BBC Two that premiered in September of 1994.

Created by Donna Franceschild Takin’ Over the Asylum follows the story of Eddie McKenna (played by Ken Stott), who is an alcoholic salesman and aspiring disc jockey running a radio station at St. Jude’s Mental Hospital in Glasgow. Cast also includes David Tennant (Doctor Who), Katy Murphy and Ruth McCabe.
