Secret State Synopsis

Secret State is a political drama television series produced by Channel 4 that premiered in November of 2012.

Loosely based on the book A Very British Coup written by Chris Mullin Secret State follows the story of the Deputy Prime Minister Tom Dawkins (played by Gabriel Bryne – In Treatment), who gets entangled into an investigation about an industrial accident caused by a petrochemical company. His investigation leads him to uncover a conspiracy much bigger than he could have ever imagined.
