Profit Synopsis

Profit is a drama television series produced by Fox Network that premiered in April of 1996.

Created by David Greenwalt and John McNamara Profit follows the story of Jim Profit (played by Adrian Pasdar) who is the vice president of Acquisitions in a big corporation. Profit’s real name is James Stakowski and he is from Oklahoma. He was raised by his abusive father who made him sleep in a cardboard box and kept the television on at all hours. James sets his father on fire, runs away and reinvents himself as Jim Profit. Profit will do anything, including murder to get ahead in the company.
