Lipstick on Your Collar Synopsis

Lipstick on Your Collar is a musical drama comedy television show produced by Channel 4 that premiered in February of 1993.

Created by Dennis Potter Lipstick on Your Collar follows the story Mick Hopper (played by Ewan McGregor) who works for British Military Intelligence as an analyst. His relatively ordinary life is interrupted when the Suez crisis strikes in 1956. Since he is bored at his job Hopper spends his work hours daydreaming about his co-workers breaking into song and dance. Lipstick on Your Collar was also notable because it featured Ewan McGregor in his first major role.
