Philip Marlowe, Private Eye was a crime drama television series produced by ITV and HBO that premiered in April of 1983.

Philip Marlowe, Private Eye was noir drama based upon short stories by celebrated noir writer Raymond Chandler. The series followed the cases of Philip Marlowe (played by Powers Boothe), a private detective working in the 1930s Los Angeles.
