The New Avengers Synopsis

The New Avengers was a spy mystery television series produced by ITV that premiered in October of 1976.

The New Avengers was a continuation of highly popular 1960s spy-fi series The Avengers. Patrick Macnee returned to the role of John Steed, now partnered with agents Mike Gambit (played by Gareth Hunt) and Purdey (played by Joanna Lumley).

The New Avengers aired two seasons.
