Outlander Synopsis

Outlander is a fantasy drama television series produced by the Starz Network that premiered in August of 2014.

Based on the books written by Diana Gabaldon Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall (played by Caitriona Balfe), a 1945 World War II combat nurse who time travels to 1743 Scotland during the civil war. Here she meets and is forced to marry a chivalrous and passionate Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan).

Outlander is currently in its first season.
