New Amsterdam Synopsis
New Amsterdam is a crime drama television series produced by Fox network that debuted in March 2008.
New Amsterdam follows a story of John Amsterdam, a homicide detective with the NYPD who although he looks 35 is in fact 400 years old and immortal. Amsterdam was a Dutch soldier in 17th century and when he saved a Native American girl she cast a spell that made him immortal until he finds his true love.
New Amsterdam aired eight episodes and got cancelled by Fox network in April of 2008.
