Mad Men Synopsis

Mad Men takes a look at the social and political mores of the 1960s through the eyes of the executives and support staff at an advertising agency in New York City. The AMC series stars Jon Hamm as creative director Don Draper, an enigmatic man who excels at his job but struggles to keep his personal life together.

The series, widely praised for its visual style and and historical accuracy, won the Best TV Drama Golden Globe in 2008 and 2009. It was the most-nominated drama series at the 2008 Emmys and took home several awards, including the trophy for Outstanding Drama Series. It is the first basic cable series to win that award. It is expected to return for its third season in summer 2009.
