Messiah Synopsis

Messiah is a crime drama television series produced by BBC that premiered in May of 2001.

Messiah is based on the book by the same name written by Boris Starling and it follows a crime investigation into serial killer who sets out to murder eleven men with the same name as the Apostles and in the same way the Apostles were killed according to the Bible. The team of investigators is led by DCI Redfern Metcalfe (played by Ken Stott). The first season was adapted from a novel, while rest of the seasons were scripted for TV only.
