Hannay Synopsis

Hannay is an adventure television series produced by Thames TV that premiered in January of 1988.

Hannay was a spin-off of the 1978 movie 39 Steps that was, in turn, based upon the 1915 novel by John Buchan. Loosely inspired by his stories, the series followed adventures of Richard Hannay (played by Robert Powell), Scottish mining engineer caught up in spy intrigues of the pre-World War One Europe.

Hannay aired two seasons.
