Fortitude Synopsis

Fortitude is a psychological thriller television series produced by Sky Atlantic that premiered in January of 2015.

Created by Simon Donald Fortitude follows the story of DCI Morton (played by Stanley Tucci), a detective who travels to the town of Fortitude, located in the Arctic circle in order to help with a murder investigation lead by Sheriff Dan Anderssen (played by Richard Dormer). Series also stars Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), Sofie Grabol (from the Danish The Killing) and Michael Gambon. In the United States the series airs on Pivot.

Fortitude is currently in its first season.
