Demob Synopsis

Demob is a comedy drama television series produced by ITV that premiered in 1993.

Demob follows the story of two British soldiers – Ian Deasey (played by Griff Rhys Jones) and Dick Dobsen (played by Martin Clunes) who have been “demobbed” (demobilized) out of the army after World War II. Ian returns to his desk job, while Dick still dreams of making something out of his life and wants to form an entertainment act with his friend. Soon enough they find a regular gig and their quest for fame and fortune begins.
