Pyro TV LogoAlthough you may not have heard of it, Pyro.tv is a service comparable to VeohTV. It collects videos from around the web, and delivers them to its users as channels, similar to traditional television.

The bread-and-butter of the service lies in the ability for each user to create their own channels of their favourite videos, which can then be shared amongst others.

Now, Vibe Solutions Group, the company behind the service, has announced that the Pyro.TV video channel service has been integrated into the Facebook Platform.

Facebook users can join in on the action with the new Pyro.TV Facebook application that opens up an even wider community to share channels with.

Ted Briscoe, chief executive officer, Vibe Solutions Group:-

“We are committed to distributing Pyro.TV’s growing network of channels wherever people are online,”

“Social networking sites like Facebook now have the ability to offer more than just embedded video clips to their users.

They can offer a complete personalized TV viewing experience that requires no download and is constantly refreshed with channel content.”

The Facebook application is essentially a full-functioning version of the Pyro.TV website, but completely integrated into Facebook profiles as an application.

Through Facebook, users can create their own personal Internet TV experience with custom channel line-ups (known as My Channels). Users can then display, promote, and share their channels through a video player that is embedded within their Facebook profiles.

Now millions of Facebook users have the ability to customize a video channel to watch videos and share it with friends. Pyro.tv offers a great concept that seems to work well within a social network such as Facebook.
