Waiting for God Synopsis

Waiting for God is a situation comedy television series produced by BBC1 that premiered in June of 1990.

Created by Michael Aitkens Waiting for God follows the story of Tom Ballard (played by Graham Crowden). Tom becomes a resident of Bayview Retirement Home and there he meets a new friend Diana Trent (played by Stephanie Cole). Together they do everything in their power not to grow old gracefully and annoy the oppressive manager of the home in the process.

Waiting for God aired five seasons and two specials.
