Tyrant Synopsis

Tyrant is a drama television series produced by FX that premiered in June of 2014.

Created by Gideon Raff Tyrant follows the story of Bassam Al-Fayeed also known as Barry (played by Adam Rayner), a pediatrician and the second son of the dictator of Abbudin. Bassam lives with his wife and two teenage children in Los Angeles in self imposed exile. But when he returns to his country for a nephew’s wedding it leads to a profound cultural clash for both him and his family.

Tyrant is currently in its first season.
