Tripper’s Day Synopsis

Tripper’s Day is a comedy television series produced by ITV that premiered in September of 1984.

Created by Brian Cooke Tripper’s Day follows the story of Norman Tripper (played by Leonard Rossiter), a supermarket manager who gets transferred to London in a bid to turn around the fortunes of a supermarket with problematic staff. Rossiter passed away by the time show aired. The series has a sequel starring Bruce Forsyth called Slinger’s Day.
