Top of the Lake Synopsis

Top of the Lake is a crime drama television series produced by Sundance Channel and BBC Two that premiered in March of 2013.

Created by Jane Campion and Gerard Lee Top of the Lake follows the story of a police detective who is investigating the disappearance of a 12-year old girl, who also happens to be pregnant and the daughter of the local drug lord. Series stars Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) and Holly Hunter.

Top of the Lake is currently in its first season.
