The Widower Synopsis

The Widower is a crime drama television mini-series produced by ITV that premiered in March of 2014.

The Widower is based on real life events and follows the story of Malcolm Webster (played by Reece Shearsmith – Psychoville, Inside No. 9), a nurse working at an Aberdeen hospital. Malcolm lives well beyond his means and after his wife discovers his mounting debt, he kills her. He moves to New Zealand and tries to kill his second wife.

The Widower is currently in its first season.
