The Unusuals Synopsis

The Unusuals is an offbeat dramedy about detectives working in New York City’s 2nd precinct. Casey Schraeger (Amber Tamblyn) is moved from Vice to Homicide and partnered with Jason Walsh (Jeremy Renner), whose old partner was just murdered.

While Casey, Jason, and the other detectives solve murders and deal with their individual neuroses, Casey’s boss Sgt. Harvey Brown (Terry Kinney) wants her to help him clear out corruption in his precinct. Since Casey comes from a wealthy background, he figures she’s the only one who can’t be bought.

The Unusuals debuted last night, April 8, on ABC at 10:00 pm Eastern/9:00 Central. It is scheduled to air 10 episodes in its first season.
