The Tunnel Synopsis

The Tunnel is a crime drama television series produced by Sky Atlantic and Canal+ that premiered in October of 2013.

The Tunnel is based on the Scandinavian series the Bridge. It follows the story of the British police detective Karl Roebuck (played by Stephen Dillane) and his French counterpart Elise Wasserman (played by Clémence Poésy) who are investigating a murder that happened at the Channel Tunnel (a point between the United Kingdom and France). The found corpse consists out of the upper half of a French politician, while the bottom part belongs to a British prostitute. Two police forces have to work together in order to find the killer.

The Tunnel is currently in its first season.
