The Trip Synopsis

The Trip is a comedy television series produced by BBC Two that premiered in November of 2010.

The Trip is an improvised comedy television series that is fictional but based on real characters. Steve Coogan gets commissioned to write a piece for a food supplement in the newspapers and has to visit six restaurants in the North of England. He plans to visit the locations with his American girlfriend. But after she breaks up with him he invites his friend Rob Brydon to do this restaurant tour with him.

The Trip is currently in its first season.
