The Royle Family Synopsis

The Royle Family a situation comedy television series produced by BBC that debuted in September of 1998.

The Royle Family centers on the Royles, a working class family living in a suburb of Manchester. It is a modern comedy of manners where all the scenes take place in the family home and family members rarely do anything but watch TV.

The Royle family won a BAFTA, gathered a cult following and aired three seasons and a number of specials.
