The anime The Pet Girl of Sakurasou is based on the novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi.

Pet Girl follows Sorata, a student who’s forced to live in a dormitory for misfits after adopting stray cats.

However, his caring ways come to good use when he meets a world-renowned but dysfunctional artist in need of help.
