The Lottery Synopsis

The Lottery is a post-apocalyptic drama television series produced by Lifetime that premiered in July of 2014.

Created by Timothy J. Sexton The Lottery takes place in a dystopian future that has been struck with a global fertility crisis as women have stopped having children and the humanity is on the brink of extinction. Dr. Alison Lennon (played by Marley Shelton) has found the way to fertilize 100 eggs and has managed convince the President of the United States to hold a national lottery to see who will carry the embryos to term.

The Lottery is currently in its first season.
