The Lizzie Borden Chronicles Synopsis

The Lizzie Borden Chronicles is a mystery biopic television mini-series produced by Lifetime that premiered in April of 2015.

The Lizzie Borden Chronicles is based on a true story of Lizzie Borden (played by Christina Ricci), a Sunday school teacher who was accused and subsequently acquitted of the murders of both her stepmother and father in Fall River, Massachusetts. Prequel to the series was a TV movie Lizzie Borden Took An Ax. The TV movie examined the Lizzie Borden trial, while the series follows the titular character as she tries to restart her life following the trial.

The Lizzie Borden Chronicles is currently in its first season.
