The Last of the Baskets Synopsis

The Last of the Baskets is a situation comedy television series produced by ITV that premiered in May of 1971.

Created by John Stevenson The Last of the Baskets follows the story of a factory worker Clifford Basket (played by Ken Jones). Clifford learns that he has inherited a run down estate with a pile of debts and the title of the Earl of Clogborough, much to the horror of the previous Earl’s man servant Bodkin (played by Arthur Lowe).
