The Highwayman Synopsis

The HIghwayman is a Science fiction television series produced by NBC that premiered in September of 1987.

The Highwayman was a short-lived Science Fiction series from 1980s set in the “near future” of 1992 where titular character (played by Sam Jones, Flash Gordon) patrols the US West in his futuristic truck. The TV film/pilot of the series featured Claudia Christian (Babylon 5) while the show’s regulars included Tim Russ (who later played in Star Trek: Voyager).

The Highwayman aired one season.
