The Field of Blood Synopsis

The Field of Blood is a crime drama television series produced by BBC One that premiered in August of 2011.

Based on the novel written by Denise Mina The Field of Blood follows the story of Paddy Meehan (played by Jayd Johnson) who works as a copy-girl at Glasgow Daily Post. Paddy has journalistic aspirations even though her male colleagues have no respect for her. When 3-year-old boy is killed and Paddy’s cousin’s son is a chief suspect, she sets out to find the real murderer. But investigating the dark murder case comes at a great personal cost.
