The F Word Synopsis
The F Word
, also known in some markets as Gordon Ramsay’s F Word, is a food and cooking magazine series. Airing on Channel 4 in the UK and BBC America in the US, it stars chef Gordon Ramsay as the host.
The series covers many food-related subjects, including trends, preparing healthy home-cooked meals, and controversies. Ramsay also offers challenges, such as having a different crew help him prepare meals for diners each week at The F Word restaurant. He frequently has celebrity guests, some of whom he challenges to a cook-off with a specialty dish.
Ramsay has been criticized for one particular segment in his series. He and his family raise an animal over the course of each season and have it slaughtered it for a meal in the final episode. He defends this by saying it’s to show his children and viewers how their meat dish ends up on their plates.
The F Word has aired four seasons. It is unknown at this time if it will return for a fifth season.
