The Doctor Blake Mysteries Synopsis

The Doctor Blake Mysteries is a crime drama television series produced by Australian ABC1 that premiered in February of 2013.

Created by George Adams and Tony Wright The Doctor Blake Mysteries follows the story of Doctor Lucien Blake (played by Craig McLachlan), who after a 30 year absence returns home to Ballarat in Victoria, Australia after the death of his father to take over his practice. He takes on the role of the police surgeon and with his knowledge of forensics helps local police solve crimes.

The Doctor Blake Mysteries is currently in its first season while second season has been commissioned.
