
The Cut Synopsis
The Cut is a teen soap opera television series produced by BBC Two and BBC Switch that premiered in September of 2009.
Created by Geoffrey Goodwin and Al Smith The Cut follows the story of Jay (played by Samuel Benta) who is a free spirit and does
not want to be tied down and is in a relationship with Marla Mackinnon (played by Lara Goodison). They got together after a stranger’s death intrigues Jay to travel to London where he meets Mackinnon and Loxley family, who have a long and tumulus history.
The Cut is currently in its second season and third series has been commissioned.
