The Crimson Petal and the White Synopsis

The Crimson Petal and the White is a period thriller drama television series produced by BBC Two that premiered in April of 2011.

The Crimson Petal and the White is based on the book of the same name written by Michel Faber. It is set in Victorian London and follows the story of William Rackham, an owner of a perfume business who has an affair with prostitute named Sugar. She is young and ambitious and uses her new affair to get ahead in the society.

The Crimson Petal and the White is currently in its first season.
