The Comic Strip Presents Synopsis

The Comic Strip Presents was a comedy television series produced by Channel 4 and later on by BBC that premiered in November of 1982.

The Comic Strip Presents was a comedy series created by a group of so-called alternative comics who rose to prominence during the 1980s. Each episode of the series was a self-contained TV movie. The cast included Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous), Dawn French (The Vicar of Dibley), Ade Edmondson and Rik Mayall (Bottom) among others.

The Comic Strip Presents aired six seasons and a number of specials.
