Tenko Synopsis

Tenko is a war drama television series produced by BBC that premiered in 1981.

Created by Lavinia Warner Tenko told the story of English, Australian and Dutch women that were held captive in the Japanese internment camp after the Japanese conquered Singapore in 1942. The women held captive were separated from their families and had to live in appalling conditions. The series featured an assembly cast including Ann Bell, Stephanie Cole, Stephanie Beacham and Renee Asherton.

Tenko aired three seasons and one-off television special.
