Tanner ‘88 Synopsis

The political mockumentary series Tanner ‘88 was written by Garry Trudeau and directed by Robert Altman.

Tanner ‘88 stars Michael Murphy as Michigan Representative Jack Tanner and Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) as his daughter.

The series follows Tanner as he tries to get a a nomination in the 1988 US Democratic primaries to run for President.
