Stella Synopsis

Stella is a comedy drama series produced by Sky 1 that premiered in January of 2012.

Created by Ruth Jones and David Peet Stella follows the story of the titular character Stella (played by Ruth Jones – Gavin and Stacey), who is a 40-something single mum of three children and lives in Wales. Stella makes money by doing the washing and ironing for the locals and is in general happy with her lot. She tries to juggle her family, her somewhat eccentric friends and get along with her kids’ father.

Stella is currently in its first season.
