State of Georgia Synopsis

State of Georgia is a situation comedy television series produced by ABC Family that premiered in June of 2011.

Created by Jeff Greenstein and Jennifer Weiner State of Georgia follows the story of Georgia Chamberlain (played by Raven-Symoné) who is young aspiring actress from the south. She and her best friend Jo Pye (played by Majandra Delfino), who is a science nerd, decide to move to New York to make names for themselves.

State of Georgia is currently in its first season.
