State of Affairs Synopsis

State of Affairs is a political thriller television series produced by NBC that premiered in November of 2014.

Created by Alexi Hawley State of Affairs follows the story of Charleston Tucker (played by Katherine Heigl – Grey’s Anatomy), a top CIA adviser to the President of the United States Constance Payton (played by Alfre Woodard). Together with her team Charleston puts together the President’s Daily Briefing, a list of most vital security issues facing the country. Charleston was also engaged to the President’s son, who died in a terrorist attack and she is determined to find the people responsible.

State of Affairs is currently in its first season.
