Special Branch Synopsis

Special Branch was a police drama television series produced by ITV that premiered in September of 1969.

Special Branch followed the story of the Special Branch police unit of the London Metropolitan Police, whose main focus was on anti-terrorist and anti-espionage activities. The team was led by D.I. Jordan (played by Derren Nesbitt) and there was constant friction between the Special Branch and the MI5. The third and fourth season were revamped and had a completely new cast.
