Space: Above and Beyond is military Science fiction television series produced by Fox that premiered in autumn of 1995.

Space: Above and Beyond was loosely inspired by SF novels like Robert A. Heinlein’s Starship Troopers and Joe Haldeman’s Forever War. It focused on “Wildcards” – a group of US Marines engaged in a space war against superior alien enemy in the second half of 21. century.
