Samantha Who? Synopsis
Samantha Who?
stars Christina Applegate as Samantha Newly. Sam was hit by a car and after spending eight days in a coma she wakes up with retrograde amnesia. She discovers that she wasn’t a very nice person before her accident and resolves to use her second chance to make amends for what she did in her past.
The ABC sitcom also stars Jean Smart, who won a Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Emmy for the series in 2008, as Samantha’s mother. Samantha Who? also co-stars Barry Watson, Kevin Dunn, Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Esposito, and Tim Russ.
Samantha Who? averaged over 11 million viewers in its first season. It returns for the second half of season two with new episodes on Thursday, March 26, 2009.
